Figured it out

Gonna have there the middle child in my story be a twin and her twin brother ran out as a teenager on Christmas and no one knows where he is. That basically tore the family apart, and therefore the kids haven't come home for Christmas since. But this year Mom and Dad have devised a plan to get all of their other children home for Chirstmas. My new deliema is that I am not sure as to how they are going to get them "Home for the Holidays".

I have written some down however I have one area where I am currently stuck, yes a form of writer's block. Each of the children have their own individual reasons for not wanting to face their mom and dad during the holiday season. But where I am stuck is that I was thinking of having them have a common reason why they don't want to come home for Christmas, perhaps a loved one died around the holidays or a big argument of some kind happend that time of year a long time ago that none of them can forget, or something totally different that I am not even thinking of.  Anyway that's where things are now.
